New Program Coordinator in Kenya

Connecting Countries would like to thank Charles Wachira for taking on the role of Program Coordinator for the past 3 years. We wish him well with his future endeavors.

In his place, we welcome Norah Wachira as the new Program Coordinator. She is a dedicated teacher in Nairobi and has family ties within the Nyahururu area. Norah fully understands our mission, and has already helped to facilitate 2 girl-student personal hygiene projects for Connecting Countries. We are looking forward to working with Norah.

Newly Revised Mission Statement and Logos

After a long deliberation, we have decided on the following mission statement and logos to represent Connecting Countries (CC) as we rebrand our image.

Mission Statement

Canadians enhancing the health and education of school children in developing countries through sustainable programs and accountable partnerships.

For other rebranding firsts, please see our website connectingcountries.net developed by Craig Fairley of Imagine Creative Communications Inc. and coordinated by Chris McAllister.

Having Your Name in Print (Donor Recognition)

A new concept for us but not new for other non-profit organizations, is to post the names of donors according to financial contributions in neatly named categories. Referencing other NPOs, their lists are voluntary. If you prefer that your name NOT be included in future lists please let CC know of your desire at the time of your donation or within one month of receiving this newsletter.
