Appreciation from Kenyan Students

Providing a 10,000 liter water storage tank at a Kenyan primary school associated with Connecting Countries involves a partnership. The school and Connecting Countries agree to and carry out specific responsibilities. This mutual agreement has been in place for years and has allowed over 20 tanks to be installed.

In October 2019 Hamilton based marathoner Reid Coolsaet decided to use Connecting Countries as his charity of choice in order to run the Scotia Bank Marathon. Reid spread the word amongst his network and raised just over $1500 dollars. Those funds were used to provide a water tank for Kanguu Primary School in Ol Joro Orok Kenya.

As part of Kanguu primary’s responsibilities, Letters of Appreciation were written by students and sent to Reid along with 2 photos of the tank his running efforts provided. The attached photos detail the story.

Connecting Countries wishes to thank Reid.  His continued support allows Connecting Countries to provide facilities in Kenyan schools that promote a healthy educational environment.

Asante Sana
